Mss military modular sleep system 3pc temps 50 to -10° -good cond. Shows light to moderate use, some staining, patches or small holes that are repairable. May contain unit or soldier identification. Reversible double-pull (opens end to end) slider allows top or bottom ventilation. Non-locking slide fastener self repairs if jammed or snagged.
Draft flap prevents heat loss. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon drawcord and barrel lock. Long and 35-37 wide 35-37 (22-24at the foot) less than 3lbs color: green nsn:8465-01-398-0685. Rated for temperatures 30 to -10°. Sewn insulation does not migrate in the bag.
Anatomically designed foot box contains twice the insulation as the bag. Sewn-in, quilted chest collar prevents air drafts up and down through the hood. Measures 81-83 long and 34-36 wide (21 to 23 at foot) 4lbs color: black nsn:8465-01-398-0687.
Compressible to one cubic foot, six or nine 1-wide nylon webbing straps adjust by ladder lock buckles. Reinforcement webbing is sewn around the circumference of the bag. Nylon drawcord closure with a barrel lock measures 19.5-23.5 in length, just over 10 in diameter. The entire system can be compressed into one cubic foot inside of the stuff sack.
