This bag has never been slept in. It was used as a prop in a photo shoot. It has a couple tears in the long term storage bag that were sewn up (see photos), but the sleeping bag and the short term bag for backpacking are in pristine new condition. No more midnight drawcord fumblingsmooth, flat upper cord and hard, round lower cord make hood adjustments easy. Stretch tricot baffles provide strength and durability for long bag life. Stash pocket on the top chest near hood stows nighttime essentials. Heat bump draft tube backing the full-length, snag-free zipper prevents cold air from seeping through; down-filled collar adds warmth. Locking, two-way zipper prevents bag from inadvertently opening during the night. Ground-level side seams keep warm air from escaping. Includes a stuff sack and large storage bag. I bought this bag for a winter backpacking trip in the Sierras and was not disappointed. It got down around 10 degrees at night and I stayed nice and warm in long johns and a light fleece despite the fact that my sleeping pad broke and I was sleeping straight on the cold ground. I used it again when it was in the high 20s overnight and was very toasty. Besides being warm, it is also very cozy feeling and easy to cinch up around your face to stay warm without any uncomfortable chafing. This is now my go to sleeping bag when it will be in the low 30s and below. I have an old hand me down (20+ years) Marmot bag for more mild temperatures and it still works great so I know this bag will last for years to come! I recommend this product.
