Marmot Electrum 650 Power Fill Down Mummy Sleeping Bag. The Marmot Electrum 30 Sleeping Bag is a hybrid sleeping bag for smart backpacking. What is hybrid you ask? Well it’s all about the insulation, my little pal! Body mapped construction puts SpiraFil synthetic insulation on the bottom (the bit you lay on) while 650 power fill down is placed on top (kinda like the blanket you cover yourself with). This combination prevents the lighter, more packable down from being compressed, while the denser synthetic holds up to your weight. Oh yeah, and having the down mixed in helps drop weight as well. The 30D nylon ripstop/70D polyester shell is durable and protective for taking on the rigors of the outdoors. Snuggle in, zipper up and get some shut-eye, down to 30°F nights. I bought this new in 2016 and have only put a few weekend trips on this bag over the years. Always stored in the large mesh bag in a pet and smoke free home. Im a stomach sleeper and wound up going with a quilt. Comes with original tags, compression sack and mesh storage sack. Bag without stuff sack weighs 2.5 lb. The inner label has started peeling off of the bag, otherwise it looks new. Please inspect the photos as all sales are final.
