They were issued from the 1970′s into the early 2000′s. Developed for Mountain troops in WWII, this U. Military filled sleeping bag made with 80% down 20% ployester for amazing warmth. The bags are tapered so the feet are closer together mummy style. These are made for extreme weather with sewn with innovative offset stitching which alternates inside and outside stitches to an inner layer to avoid creating an opening cold can penetrate through. Rolls up tight with attached tie straps for easy packing. Stamped US extreme cold. Made in USA by Tennier. Water and wind-resistant cotton/polyester shell, 3′ storm flaps. Made of water-repellent poplin cotton outer shell. Mummy design with tapered near foot area. Heavy-duty zipper with snap storm flap. Size 84 Long approx. 30 at shoulder narrow at feet. See below Condition and 5 Options. New In package or with tags if applicable. Excellent products are in excellent to new/un-issued condition. Very Good Products have been previously issued may contain light stains, minor scuff marks, loose threads, small repairs, no rips, ink writing and they retain 100% of their original functionality. Good Products have been previously issued may contain staining, small burns, loose threads, scuffs, small rips, ink writing, faded tag and they retain 100% of their original functionality. Fair to Serviceable – Due to wear and daily use these issued products may not be as thick as when originally issued but are still in serviceable condition. Products may have small imperfections but all snags/tears/burns/seams will be less than 1″-4″ in size.
Everything works as it should. The zippers are good the buttons work everything is intact and there are no holes or stains. Some fade in the olive drab color here and there but not bad. Actually a really good looking bag! It’s just been around a while so don’t expect brand new. Very clean though and doesn’t smell or anything weird. I would camp in it tonight. Really down feather filled mixed with synthetic. Thank you so much!

This sleeping bag is brand new never used. The plastic cover had deteriorated due to age. I unrolled it for the first time to take pictures. It is a little dusty from being stored. Please review all pictures.
