I only used this bag twice, since it is a bit too short for me. I’m 6’1. I then bought the long version of this same bag. The bag is supper light weight, under 2 lbs, packs down nicely and has the best of both worlds. 700 duck down top with a primaloft insulated bottom. Can be zipped together with any women’s bag, so you can co-sleep! Bag has no issues. Comes with storage case and compression bag. This 3-season, ultralight sleeping bag uses a clever design of water-repellent down and synthetic insulations and waterproof / breathable fabric panels for double the protection. REI double-protection design combines water-repellent fills with waterproof / breathable fabric at the hood, sides and footbox, the areas most likely to touch a damp tent wall. On top of the bag, where superior loft and warmth are key, the bag is filled with water-repellent 700-fill-power duck down. On the bottom is resilient Primaloft® Sport insulation, which performs well in a compressed under-bag space. Ripstop nylon shell also features a durable water repellent finish to further protect the bag’s insulations. Performance fit keeps weight low and thermal efficiency high. REI in-the-round design puts vertical baffles in side walls to wrap you in warmth and create a better fit than bags that use only horizontal baffles. Contoured hood, insulated face muffler and full-length draft tube all work to keep warmth in. Differentiated hood and neck drawcords simplify adjustments; antisnag zipper works smoothly. REI KILO FLASH 750 DOWN 40F SLEEPING BAG LONG LEFT EUC I bought this bag new about 3-4 years ago and used it very sparingly. Ive slept in the bag at temps as low as 30F (wore a lot of clothes), but it works best around 40F and up. REI no longer sells this model. Im 511 and weigh 180 and I could wear a reasonable amount of clothes while in the bag, but it is a very trim bag, which makes for better thermal efficiency. I like a long bag because I can put extra clothes in the foot end and keep them warm and dry. This bag will fit a person up to about 6-6. The zipper is not quite full length. The original REI storage sack and a stuff sack are included. There are no odors, stains, rips, or worn spots on this bag and the zipper works fine, as it did from day one. Ive got a bunch of sleeping bags, so no individual bag sees a lot of use. I probably used it 10-15 nights. I never use a stuff sack, and this bag has been stored in a heated upstairs bedroom in the generously sized REI storage sack. The bag has never been near anyones pets. I dont have any pets. REI Flash 800-Fill Power Goose Down Mens Long Sleeping Bag with Interior Damage. We always use new boxes and bubble wrap to protect your items. Thank you very much for your business from all of us here at Seattle Technology. This sleeping bag has some interior damage. There is about a 1-foot section that has burns / melting cuts to the interior. Looks repairable, but will require a fair bit of sewing and / or patching with similar material. No down stuffing lost – held in temporarily with tape. Otherwise in excellent condition. This model has 800-fill power down on top and PrimaLoft on the bottom to save weight. S the long men. S version and the size is shown on the tag. No odors or stains. Can be used as is but we would recommend repairing first to make sure down is not lost. Soft primaloft® sport synthetic insulation on the bottom of the bag provides a stable layer that continues to warm even if wet and dries quickly. Waterproof, breathable shell fabric on hood, side panels and footbox increases moisture resistance in areas that often come in contact with tent side walls. Ripstop nylon shell fabric on the rest of the bag is treated with a durable water repellent finish to repel moisture and stains.
Performance fit saves weight by reducing girth at shoulders, hips and lower legs; trapezoidal footbox accommodates a natural sleeping position. Multichambered contoured hood, insulated full-face muffler, full-length zipper draft tube and ground-level seams all work to keep heat in and cold out. Differentiated drawcords (1 round, 1 flat) let you adjust hood and neck easily in the dark. Zipper is backed by wide, antisnag binding tape; the rei flash sleeping bag can be zipped to any other rei backpacking bag (women’s bags zip on the right, men’s on the left). European norm (en) rating for men is 32°f and 41°f for women; en is an independent third-party temperature rating, allowing accurate comparisons across brands.
