This water repellant treatment of the down does a great job of keeping the quilt in excellent working. Condition regardless of climate, humidity, tent conditions, etc. The quilt has the incredibly designed ability to be worn over your head and around your body to create a wearable quilt. This is accomplished via velcro lined access in the middle of the quilt. The quilt comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. This incredible quilt served my wife well on two separate week long hikes. It is in excellent used (but never abused) condition.
