Waterproof Hydroseal® coated nylon floor for extra durability; end-opening zipper is protected by a wide storm flap. Single overhead shockcorded Delrin® pole keeps bivy up and off of face when sack is closed; wide storm flap shields the zipper from wind and rain. No-see-um-mesh at opening keeps bugs off face while allowing ample ventilation; height is approximately 20 in. Footprint is sized to accommodate thicker sleeping pads. This is the Bison GWS sleeping bag made by Western Mountaineering. It’s the bag climbers take on seriously cold and high summits and this one was bought in 2014 for Aconcagua. It has never actually been used for a climb. It was taken on a weekend trip as a test run but looks and smells brand new. No rips, holes or stuck zippers.
