I have taken extraordinary care of it since new and it is in outstanding condition with no decline in performance over the years. For the past 20 years, I have only used it twice. Before that, I only used it about half a dozen times, laundering the snap/tie-in liner after each use and storing it properly in a very large, breathable cotton storage bag, always in climate controlled conditions. I have never been cold in it, in any weather. This is the 6′-2 model, rated at 0°F and weighing 4lbs. (see the catalog description and specs in the last photo). The top collar and draft tube behind the zipper allow you to seal the bag and prevent cold air seeping in. All Holubar products were made in Boulder, Colorado by real American seamstresses from the best materials available, including prime northern goose down and YKK zippers. As with everything this small artisan company made, the craftsmanship is remarkable. Many outdoor enthusiasts agree that Holubar made the best equipment available throughout the life of the company, especially under Jim Kack’s direction from 1968 until 1981 when The North Face bought out the company to stifle the competition. This is a beautiful and fully functional piece of classic outdoor gear that still gives like new performance.
