US Army USGI Improved Modular Sleep System. ACU (Digital urban grey) or BDU (Woodland) Camo choices. These systems are 4(FOUR) pieces and come with the large stuff sack black for ACU or Woodland camo selection, or you can get the matching Large foliage green for the ACU camo only, finally you can get the full 5 pc system ACU by choosing the large and small stuff sack foliage green but the 5 pc only offered in ACU digital camo, all is your choice I make it easy to build it your way! All photos are stock examples. The US Army Improved ACU Digital & Woodland Sleep System is a sleeping bag system constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from mild weather to extremely cold weather. The system consists of two Mummy style sleeping bags. There is the Patrol (Foliage or Green) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey or Black). Each bag is constructed of water-resistant ripstop nylon. Each bag is fully functional independently in temperate condition, or used together for colder condition. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag is compatible with the vapor permeable bivy cover. When all 3 components are used together the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40°F. This 4 piece system includes a large Black or Foliage green stuff sack. Non-flammable and machine washable. PATROL BAG FEATURES (Woodland system comes with the Olive Green and the ACU system comes with a foliage green patrol bag). Water resistant ripstop nylon. Reversible double-pull (opens end to end) slider allows top or bottom ventilation. Non-locking slide fastener self repairs if jammed or snagged. Draft flap prevents heat loss. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon drawcord and barrel lock. INTERMEDIATE COLD WEATHER BAG FEATURES. Water resistant, ripstop nylon. Free from cold spots. Insulation does not migrate in the bag. Anatomically designed foot box contains twice the insulation as the bag. Sewn-in, quilted chest collar prevents air drafts up and down through the hood. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon draw cord and barrel lock. Waterproof and windproof 3-layer laminant fabric. Includes snap fastener and slide fastener. ACU Digital or Woodland Camo Pattern. STUFF SACK FEATURES: 1 Black or 1 Foliage Green large or expand to a 5 pc system and it includes a large and small foliage in the ACU camo only. Compressible to one cubic foot. 1-wide nylon webbing straps adjust by ladder lock buckles. Reinforcement webbing is sewn around the circumference of the bag. Nylon draw cord closure with a barrel lock. LIKE NEW: These will show minimum signs of use and are truly like new just not in original packaging. These were issue to soldiers just appears hardly ever actually used by the soldier in the field so very minimal signs of use or best condition grade. EXCELLENT: Will be slightly better than the very goods with better coloring and obviously less use. VERY GOOD: Items in the very good range will show more use than the excellent range; however, will still be in great shape. All components are fully functional; but will show wear on its hardware such as paint rubbed off zipper pulls, snaps or grommets and scratches on buckles. There may be government markings or a soldiers name or other writing. Items may have some fading. NSN tags could be wrinkled, torn, worn, faded, or missing. Some items may not have a “US” due to fading or vinyl lettering coming loose. Items may have some dirt or dust from use or storage, but most likely can be cleaned. There will not be any holes, tears or other such defects. GOOD: the good category might have some of the following: small holes, small stains, tears, fading, dirt from use and may need a washing, government markings or a soldiers name or other writing, duct tape or tape residue, fraying, NSN tags could be wrinkled, torn, faded, or missing, patches or other signs of repair, wear on its hardware such as paint rubbed off zipper pulls, snaps or grommets and scratches on buckles. Zippers will be functional. We grade items in the good category typically when they show enough wear and use that we dont feel they qualify for Very Good, yet theres nothing wrong with them and they are fully serviceable and have a lot of use left in them; or they have some kind of minor flaw or defect that disqualifies them from Grading as a Very Good, but can be easily repaired. This may include minor sewing, a patch, replace a buckle, etc. FAIR w/ defects: Well used or heavy wear, some damage or flaws, but has life left in them. Items in grade are generally in need of a little TLC and will be a bargain! With some repair work, they will be good to go and have plenty of life left in them. They could have the characteristics defined above in “Good” Grade. In addition, they will have some reparable holes or tears. Items may need a piece of hardware replaced such as a buckle, strap, barrel lock, cord, etc. Soldiers writing and name DRMO stamp, severe fading, broken zippers, holes, soiling and will show consistent wear but will still be functional.
