Got this as a 2nd hand gift. Already had the covered taped defect. No problem didnt loose any down. This bag has plenty of life. Comes from a smoke free and pet free home. Sorry no stuff sack or cotton sack. Will not answer anyone to lower the price. See my other listing. Compact and weighing just over 2 pounds, the Marmot Helium 15 Degree sleeping bag is an ideal choice for high-performance 3-season backpacking. An array of features and 800+ fill water-resistant down insulation equip the bag for backcountry adventure. The Helium 15 Degree is insulated with certified 800+ fill goose down. Fill power measures the loft or “fluffiness” of down insulation and Marmot goes to great lengths to guarantee the 800+ certification with a battery of in-house and external verifications. Renowned for their efficiency in retaining heat and compressible properties, the feathers and fibers of down have an incredibly soft, comfortable feel and, despite advances in synthetic materials, continue to provide the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The one weakness of down insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet; this is less of a problem in the Helium 15 Degree, though, since the down in this bag is protected with Marmots Down Defender water repellent treatment that allows the down to stay drier 10 times longer than untreated down in damp conditions. Down Defender down also maintains significantly more loft and dries faster than untreated down. Despite its lightweight construction, the Helium 15 Degree makes no sacrifice with regards to performance and features. Eliminating cold spots and providing comfort, sewn-through baffles ensure that the insulation is distributed evenly throughout the bag. The contoured, ergonomic hood helps reduce heat loss and keeps your head warm and comfortable. An insulated draft tube sewn behind the full-length zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag and zipper guards help to avoid irritating and damaging snags. A fold down second zipper enables you to vent the bag when needed and also makes it easier to get in and out of the bag. An anatomically-designed footbox provides a more natural fit and improves warmth and comfort. EE’s synthetic topquilt the Prodigy, now known as the revelation apex. It has climashield apex insulation rated to 20. Very warm and comfortable material that is less maintenance and cheaper than down. Also performs better in wet conditions. Fairly compressible for a synthetic quilt, it packs down as small as my 20 down quilt in a compression bag. This quilt has been lightly used 5 or 6 times and stored properly in a smoke free home away from pets. It is the long and wide version which works great for hammock or ground camping which measures 78″ x 58″. It comes with a storage bag, stuff sack, and a sleeping pad strap.
