Kifaru 20 Degree Slick Bag XL w/Zipper Baffle Lightly Used Excellent Condition. This bag is an older model (I bought in 2010) that differs somewhat from their current lineup. The major difference that I can see is the zipper location–the zipper on this bag is on the right as you are lying inside it. This is an XL bag; measurements are 77″ long, 29″ wide at the shoulders, tapering to 20 in the footbox. There is an insulated baffle behind the zipper to prevent heat loss, and another baffle at the neck/collar. The bag weighs approximately 3.5 lbs. I bought this bag to do some snow camping a couple of years ago. An injury kept me from ever going. Its never been used and is basically brand new. This is one of the warmest sleeping bags on the market and is rated for -40°C / -40°F. It is in like new condition and has always been stored uncompressed hanging in a closet in a non-smoking home. Storing any sleeping bag in it’s stuff sack damages it. The bag weighs about 4.5 pounds and comes with both the small stuff sack as well as the large cotton storage bag. I bought this bag a few years ago for an expedition to hike in the Andes Mountains in Argentina (Mount Aconcagua). Unfortunately while there, my friend suffered from altitude sickness and the doctors at base camp wouldn’t let him go any higher. I didn’t want to go alone so after a few days in base camp we went down. Since then, the bag has basically been in storage.
