Vintage Marmot Mountain Works “Gopher” sleeping bag, with goose down insulation and Gore-Tex shell (rated by Marmot at -10°F). Has double draft tubes, the “Marmot Muff” collar around the shoulders, and down-filled hood portion. Total loft varies between about 7-9 inches (higher in the foot and chest area, lower in the mid-section). I believe this is the standard-length bag. Total length is about 80 including hood. Widest width is about 30. Total bag weight (excluding stuff sack) is 3 lbs 10 oz. Has been unused and stored unstuffed! Final graphic is from Marmot catalog in 1977. NOTE: Outer shell on the bottom of the bag was accidentally cut open (by a knife I believe; it was years ago so I can’t remember) in two areas, and has been sewn back together (see last 3 photos). This does not seem to adversely affect its utility, although these repairs have not been seam-sealed (other seams on the bottom have been sealed). Also, the top blue shell is slightly faded (from sunlight) along the upper half of the zipper (see photos). This bag is in great condition with no rips or wearing. Note one of the 5″x5″ baffles is missing down due to washing, but this does not impact warmth at all. You could probably move the down back into the baffle if you wanted. I have thoroughly cleaned this bag washing it by hand prior to listing.
