These are NEW and unissued and come without plastic packaging, as shown in the last picture. The bivy has zippers on both sides with velcro fasteners for easy access. Mesh fabric covers the face area to allow ventilation and keep bugs away. Behind the mesh in the face area is waterproof fabric that can be zippered closed to provide complete waterproof encapsulation.
