This is a Western Mountaineering Dakota -5 degree, down-filled, MicroFiber (MF) shell sleeping bag. I have had it for several years, and it may have been used once or twice only, and it is in like-new condition. The stuff sack, and cotton storage bag are included. The stuff sack seems to be deteriorating on the inside, because it feels a little “tacky” to the touch. There are no defects on this bag. It is as “like-new” as it can be, without actually being new. Western Mountaineering Dakota (Lynx) Gore-Tex Sleeping Bag Excellent Condition. Regular (6′) length, right zipper. This is the predecessor to the Lynx -10 degree Gore-Tex shell bag. The Dakota is cut slightly narrower to allow for maximum heat efficiency. This is a perfect winter and spring bag for camping and ski touring. The bag is in excellent, like new condition and has superb loft. It has been stored in its storage sack indoors in a warm, dry closet. Like most WM bags this is a work of art. With premium high loft down fill. I had the bag custom ordered from WM w/ slight down overfill. Rated conservatively by WM to Negative 5 degrees. I have slept very warm in colder temperatures in this bag. No scratches or tears. Used on 2 alpine climbs when I was in better shape. Never stored in its stuff sack and always wiped down after a trip with cleaning wipes. It has the same loft as the day it was made. The picture above is a stock photo.
