The current model, the Badger GWS uses Gore Windstopper membrane, instead of the Gore DryLoft membrane. Neither is waterproof, but DryLoft is the by far the more water resistant. Don’t let a little claustrophobia keep you from getting into a mummy bag. The Badger Super Long Length is a vast 67in. Wide at the shoulder and 41in. The girth is kept in line with a warm down filled collar that provides a formidable barrier preventing convective heat loss. I just changed the carton size to 17 x 12 x 9, but to do so I had to stuff the sleeping bag in a brand-new Granite Gear compression sack. I raised the weight of the carton to 6 lbs to accommodate the extra weight of the compression sack. I think you’ll find that it is now significantly lower.
