British Army Surplus Mk2 Arctic Sleeping Bag. DOES NOT COME WITH A COMPRESSION SACK. A Great quality down and feather filled hard to find Sleeping bag. All nylon construction, feather and down filled, these sleeping bags have been in storage for a few years. As with all “old style” sleeping bags, the feathers are always trying to escape. To avoid being “pricked” to death we recommend using a sleeping bag liner. Considering the age of them (manufactured in the 1980′s) they still loft up remarkably well, although they will show signs of age and storage. They will have signs of. Putting the Patrol and the Intermediate sleeping bags together provides insulation to at least minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit for a soldier dressed in polypropylene expedition weight undershirt, drawers and cushion socks.
