Katabatic Sawatch 15 degree quilt, LONG, Regular width. My conclusion: the quality of the Katabatic is first-rate, the attachment system is clever and works well, and the slimmer profile automatically makes it warmer than my too-wide 10 F Versalite. If you wanted one from Katabatic you would have to wait. The first two images are from Katabatic and then the others are mine, including showing a comparison of size and down height with the Versalite. Both bags have variable down height but I would say that overall the Katabatic is 1/4″-1/2″ higher. Katabatic lists 26.2 oz and it weighs 28 oz on my inaccurate bath scale, which could easily be off by an ounce. I have found in the past that the good manufacturers like Western Mountaineering slightly err towards overfill. The footbox on this item is as large as they make. This is an awesome product.
