The US Military Improved 5-Part ACU Digital Sleep System is a sleeping bag system constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from mild weather to extremely cold weather. The system consists of two Mummy-style sleeping bags–the Patrol (Foliage) and the Intermediate Cold Weather (Urban Grey). Each are constructed of water-resistant, ripstop nylon. Each sleeping bag is fully functional independently. For a temperature to -30°, insert the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag is compatible with the vapor permeable bivy cover. When all 3 components are used together the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40°F. This 5-part system includes a second smaller stuff sack. Non-flammable and machine washable. Water resistant, ripstop nylon. Reversible double-pull (opens end to end) slider allows top or bottom ventilation. Non-locking slide fastener self repairs if jammed or snagged. Draft flap prevents heat loss. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon drawcord and barrel lock. DIMENSIONS: 92 x 37′ to 92 x 24. INTERMEDIATE COLD WEATHER BAG FEATURES. Free from cold spots. Insulation does not migrate in the bag. Anatomically designed foot box contains twice the insulation as the bag. Sewn-in, quilted chest collar prevents air drafts up and down through the hood. Hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon draw cord and barrel lock. DIMENSIONS: 87 x 35. ” to 87 x 23″. Compressible to one cubic foot. Six 1-wide nylon webbing straps adjust by ladder lock buckles. Reinforcement webbing is sewn around the circumference of the bag. Nylon draw cord closure with a barrel lock. DIMENSIONS 30″ in length, 14″ in diameter. Made of durably waterproof and windproof 3-layer laminant fabric and approved by all departments and agencies of the Department of Defense. This is the Western Mountaineering Sycamore 25F down sleeping bag. I have used this bag for two seasons. Including a thru hike of the Vermont Long Trail. I have taken very good care of it, making sure to wash it with downtek detergent, dry with tennis balls (I also washed this before putting it up for sale). No tears, rips or loss of down. After every trip I would store it dry in the cotton storage sack. 6ft long with a left zipper. Western Mountaineering stuff & storage sack included. Size (ft/in): 6’0.
