Tag states this as the Chamois reg with a left hand zipper. Has 2 lbs of fill and size is stated at 80 x 29. Super nice loft and the original TNF stuff sack as well as the larger storage bag which it has been stored in. No rip, tears or repairs. Super comfortable and warm. Well taken care of. Quite clean with a couple areas with marks on the inside. Trying to be picky. This is a very nice goose down bag. Tags do not state the degree capability but this is a warm bag. Carinthia Eagle Sleeping Bag: Lightweight & Compact. The Carinthia EAGLE bag is the right sleeping bag wherever minimum stuff size and maximum temperature range is required. The GLT hollow fibre provides a comfort range of 10°C. Its minimal weight and stuff size also makes this bag an excellent choice when deciding on your survival equipment. Manufactured from high-quality bi-component polymers, the structure of G-LOFT insulation is in fact similar in many ways to high-quality goose down. The 3-dimensional crimping ensures maximum resilience and loft. Single Layer Not Quilted with Shell. In this lightweight design, the outer shell is loosely attached to the bag. The G-LOFT Plus filling is quilted to an insulating scrim. As a result, an additional air pocket is formed between the quilted insulation layer and the shell, yet no cold seams can occur. Here the criteria of stuff size, weight and warmth are most important. The tapered foot section reduces weight and stuff size. The main advantage is, however, that from the knee downwards there is increasingly less internal volume to keep warm. The foot section should not be so small that the feet cause the layers of insulation to poke out. A trapezoidal foot section has proven to be ideal. A wedge shape, declining evenly in width from top to bottom, does not fit the true proportions of the body. The Trapezoidal Foot Section. Experience has shown that the trapezoidal cut provides the ultimate foot space. In a normal sleeping position, the feet do not poke the insulation outward, avoiding cold spots. There is also enough room to store a shoe bag or extra clothing. Thermoflect increases the heat retention of a sleeping bag by around 11 %. Thermoflect is Carinthias solution to heat loss due to body radiation. Thermoflect is an ultra-light, ultra-soft, breathable scrim with the unique ability to reflect body-heat. All Carinthia military sleeping bags are equipped with a two way zipper. The glider on the top does not snag, allowing a quick step out if necessary (in case of alert for example). Feathered Friends down sleeping bag. I believe it to be a Swallow 20 Degree, 6’0, left zip. Stored in cotton storage sack with very little use. Tiny blemish on bottom of bag immediately repaired with Tenacious Tape with no down loss (See picture). My girl mentioned a slight musty odor but I couldn’t tell and probably from hanging in the basement it’s entire life. No stains and very warm. Comes with storage and stuff sack. MOONSTONE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL LONG LEFT 800 DOWN SLEEPING BAG EUC I bought this bag recently, and tried it on, then washed it. My honest opinion is that this bag is good down to about 20°F, and a little lower with extra clothing. This bag has 21 ounces of 800 fill power down. The baffling in Moonstone bags is trapezoidal, and if you look at the pics, you can see that the baffles appear to alternate between long and short. If you open the bag and look at the inside, you can see that those baffles alternate short and long, giving each section a trapezoidal profile. The objective is to minimize the possibility for cold spots. The baffle spacing is pretty tight, averaging less than 5 inches. You can see that there are 16 sections below the hood, whereas most sleeping bags now have 13-14 sections for a similar length sleeping bag. The hood is roomy, form fitting and very comfortable. One pic shows the back side of the hood. I always wear a hat and I like to have a small pillow inside the hood, and this hood looks perfect. The loft is about 4-5 inches, as you can see by looking at the bottle of water. The bag has a plush draft collar at the neck. The internal dimensions are about 60/50/40 for shoulders/hips/feet, which makes this a fairly trim bag, although a slender person could wear a lot of clothes in this bag. This bag would be great for a person up to probably 190-200 pounds, or a smaller person who would like to be able to put extra clothing and perhaps a quilt inside the bag. The bag is a long, and my 511, 175 pound frame had a lot of length to spare, and although I think the bag would be suitable up to about 66, Id be cautious, and suggest a maximum height of 64 to be safe, unless a person has personal experience with Moonstone bags. The listed finished size on the tag, 30″ by 83″, refers to the internal dimensions of the bag. The lining color takes a little time to get used to, but I assure you that if you are sleeping in this bag at 4AM on a. 20°F night, you will be warm as toast and not thinking about the color. After laundering with Nikwax Down Wash and drying thoroughly, the bag has been stored in the storage sack, in a clean spare bedroom. No pets, no vermin, no stains, rips, tears, damaged seams or odors. The only mar is the marking inside where a previous owner apparently wrote their name with a Sharpie.
