Feathered Friends Down Sleeping Bag in very good condition. Top quality USA made sleeping bag. I have owned Western Mountaineering and Feathered Friends sleeping bags and parkas. FF is just as good if not better than WM. For instance, I owned a Rab, a WM, and a FF down parka. The quality and loft of the FF noticeably stood above the Rab and WM. Based on my other bags I would say that this would be a three season 25F bag. But please remember cold ratings are highly subjective to the individual physiology of the user. At an even six foot and 185lbs, I prefer the regular size bags that don’t require packing the extra weight and warming up the extra room and all my bags are regular sized. Check out this beautiful Solar Flare DL from the mid 1990s. This is a negative 15 degree down, right hand long sleeping bag with a Gore Dry-loft outer shell. I believe the down fill is 700, but cannot 100% verify that. The bag is in fantastic condition! It was used for one night and has been stored for the last 20+ years. The shell has one extremely minor tear, right on a baffle stitch, caused during moving, not camping use, which is approximately 1/4 inch long. This has been repaired with a tiny dab of seam repair adhesive and is hardly noticeable. Please see the pictures. There is no stuff sack. I also do not see myself, unfortunately, ever using this bag for what it is intended, which is cold weather camping or mountaineering. At this point, I would just like to know it is going to a good home and that someone will use and enjoy it. This comes from a clean, smoke-free home.
