I bought this premium 800-fill down 0F degree sleeping bag (Regular, Right Zipper) a while ago, but rarely used it (thanks to my backcountry insomnia, I stick to day hikes only). Its been on 2 or 3 winter backpacking trips. It’s been stored in a cloth Montbell bag in my closet, so it has maintained its loft very well. I never used the #1 bag except for examination and pictures. Montbell bags are of the highest quality. Please note that the pictures include the red-orange colored bag for sale, along with three other bags for comparison. Heck no, you don’t get the other bags too – you want me to freeze? The #1 bag is right dual zip (zips from foot and head), fits users up to 6’4 in height, has 800 fill goose down, and a. 12-denier Ballistic Airtight fiber nylon. Fabric with the Polkatex DWR water resistant treatment. This is the Ultra Light series, not the regular weight bag. Ballistic Airlight – 12-denier Ballistic Airlight nylon is astoundingly thin, weighing less than half of a 45-denier nylon of normal shells while offering similar strength. This strength comes from the manufacturing process where the nylon is repeatedly stretched to align the molecules, much like the tensilizing of steel, resulting in an extremely light weight, wind resistant, breathable and water resistant fabric. Very rare to find an expedition worthy Super Stretch in like new condition. I actually prefer the softer inner fabric of this one over the Super Spiral. Mont Bell Down Hugger #1 800. Used gently for a short trip on the John Muir Trail always with internal silk sleep & hat on my head. Once trip was over, washed with’Nikwax Down Wash Direct’. This sleeping bag is essentially in’as new condition’. Looks new, smells new. Stored in A/C, smoke free home. Includes stuff sack & dry storage sack, as in pictures. Great bag with DWR type finish. Great summer backpacking or travel bag. Packs small and is very lightweight. This is the long version, but it does have a drawstring at the last baffle, allowing increased adjustability. This one has been used only a handful of times, always stored uncompressed in a smoke-free home. Montbell 800 Ultra light Spiral Down Hugger #3 30 Degrees Regular Size. I used this bag about a total of 20 nights, I have too many bags now, and haven’t used this one in a few years. No rips, tears or any indication of wear at all, over all excellent condition. This is probably the lightest 30 degree sleeping bag available, you can see from the picture it weighs 19 oz in it’s stuff sack, great for backpacking and thru hikers.
